The organic looks of this collection are based on analog film colorimetries, digitally and photochemically processed and developed by industry professionals, scanned using state of the art technology and converted to 3D LUTs using a pixel-perfect IMS. The above example is just one way to integrate OSIRIS into your workflow. There’s no right or wrong way to handle the signal processing as long as you understand that whatever adjustments are being made before a LUT is applied will be transformed along with the input image data and changes after a LUT has been applied will be added on top of the transformation but won’t affect the color processing of the LUT itself. Sounds more complicated than it is.
