Grading Workflow

One of the most important discoveries of my career is a grading workflow that I'm going to share with you.  It's important to establish a proper order of grading steps to follow in order to ensure quality and efficiency.   I invite you to review the workflow below and watch the tutorial specific to your software where I demonstrate it.

  1. Perform base correction (primary)
  2. Do shot-to-shot matching
  3. Create 'look' or use preset/LUT
  4. Ripple or copy the look across project
  5. Finish grading (secondary)
